· When You Miss The Lord’s Presence … You Will Be Worried And Upset “’Martha, Martha,’ the Lord answered, ‘you are worried and upset about many things..’”. - Luke 10:41
· God’s Presence Is The “One Thing” That Leads To “All Things” “Only one thing is important. Mary has made the right choice, and it will never be taken away from her.”
– Luke 10:42 “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” - Matthew 6:33
PURSUING GOD’S PRESENCE
1. God’s Presence Is Available “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me.” – Psalm 139:7-10
2. God’s Presence Is Personal “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.” – John 16:13-14
3. God’s Presence Has To Be Pursued “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” - James 4:7-8
