In a follow-up to our study over the topic of apostasy, we delve into the popular Scriptures used by those who support the belief that once a person is saved, they will always be saved, no matter what. But do those popular passages really mean what many think they mean? This study is a lesson in apologetics and how to dissect these Scriptures in their proper context and in the fullness of the Word. We understand that there are some very sincere, and well-meaning Christians who hold to the notion of eternal security without any responsibility of the Believer. Our goal in this study is to passionately bring enlightenment of the Word, and in no way do we seek to shame any Jesus-loving, cross-bearing Believers who hold this belief...but we cannot remain silent while Truth falls in the streets. So whether you hold to that belief, are in the process of sifting through Truth to find out what you believe, or simply need to brush up on how to be better equipped to defend the responsibility of the Believer, you cannot miss this sermon! If you haven't listened to the first installment in this series, "Apostasy", we strongly recommend you do so before listening to this apologetics study.
