This is a very special episode of The Social Fishing Podcast as I was lucky enough to interview Steve Starling, one of the Australian great anglers, freelance writers and presenters in our industry. Steve has written thousands of articles, and spent his entire life surrounded by fishing.

In this episode I talk to Steve about how fishing started for him, his very first catch and how he started writing. Steve then shares a few tips for young anglers wishing to get into writing and making fishing their full-time job. Then we jump into talking about freshwater fish, including Australian Bass, Golden Perch in Lake Windamere and the mighty Murray Cod!
