Frank DiLella (IG:@fdilella)When New Yorkers are looking for the latest on the city's vibrant theater scene, they turn to NY1 theater correspondent and host of "On Stage," Frank DiLella. A resident of the Upper West Side and native of Philly, Frank attended Fordham University at Lincoln Center and has returned to his alma mater as a professor. Frank began his time at NY1 in 2004 as an intern for "On Stage." After stints on the assignment desk and as a producer, Frank got his big break during the Broadway stagehand strike of 2007 where he was asked to lead NY1's coverage. Frank continued to appear on camera on "On Stage" through 2016, eventually taking over as host in 2017. Frank and his team were awarded an Emmy for best news magazine program in 2018. When not reporting on the entertainment community, Frank spends time trying new restaurants and traveling with friends. But no matter where his journey takes him, things seem to always lead back to the bright lights of Broadway.
We deep dive into the choices behind his career path along with what he's learned thus far! Enjoy!
