In this extremely candid conversation Richard discusses how being the 1st generation son of holocaust survivors has totally shaped his life
In today’s episode I’m talking to a friend of mine Richard who lives with his partner and 2 boys in a suburb of Melbourne. He’s a film maker and musician. In this very candid episode we discuss how being the child of holocaust survivors has totally shaped his life. He has an incredible recollection of specific childhood events which had a huge impact on how he thought and acted. He recalls awful memories his father shared with him about the holocaust. Ultimately all of this took its toll and resulted in a drug induced psychotic episode in his early 20s. I really hope you enjoy the conversation as much as we did.
