Haggai - A Withheld Blessing

Every book of the Prophets in the Old Testament has the same single thread woven throughout all of their tapestries, and that is the message of repent! And this little prophetic book is no exception, for the people of God had busied themselves with their own kingdoms, their own lives, instead of focusing on the Kingdom of God. They had forgotten the fear of the Lord and Haggai was sent to remind them of their purpose, their calling, their mission, so that the blessing of Heaven might once again course through their veins! You see, God has set His standard! It is either Him, or the world, there is no middle ground! This message packs more than a punch! It is a call unto immediate action! It is a thunderous plea for God's People, the Church, to no longer forget about who We are, and what we are called to do! It is a call to repent, and to once again choose the fear of the Lord so that His promised spiritual blessings may not be withheld from our lives, but rather poured out in full to those who are in Christ...to those who fear and tremble at His Word!
