2 Peter 3 - Frivolous Fluff

Jesus warns us to be on guard against all covetousness and dissipation, the squandering of money, energy, and resources in a way that is not befitting the Kingdom of Heaven! But it doesn't take much to look around you and see that the majority of Christians in America have chosen to ignore that memo sent from Heaven, and instead indulge in frivolous lifestyles that are contrary to the lifestyle of Jesus Himself. In this sermon, you will hear evidence, and statistics given that will hopefully cause you to reconsider how you spend your time, energy, and money, and bring it into alignment with the Word of God! God said that His People are to be separate from the world in how they live their lives, and becoming like the nations is abominable before Him. And in these last days, John writes in Revelation that His People are to come out of "Babylon", not join her in her debauchery and licentiousness against God! So what will it be Church? Will you choose to be lumped in to the image of this world, or choose to come out of her and bear the image of the cross of Christ?
