JCCF, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, is a Canadian, libertarian, legal non-profit that intervenes in cases based on issues they consider to be important. Recently, they represented female estheticians, mostly poor immigrant women of color, who refused to give a brazilian wax to biological male/transwoman J. Yaniv, and a Grade 1 girl who was told by her teacher that girls don’t exist, also based on gender ideology. Other issues they have become embroiled in include mandatory participation in an indigenous spiritual ceremony, and the issue of whether parents should be informed when their children join a Gay-Straight Alliance at school. Ironically, on some of these issues they have found themselves allied with Gender Critical Feminists who would traditionally have been on the opposite side of any social/political issue.
