Today’s Text: Mark 8:1-10
God is great and God is good,
And we thank him for our food;
By his hand we must be fed,
Give us Lord, our daily bread. Amen.
JESUS FEEDS THOUSANDS
- 5000 – Mark 6:39-44
Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. (v41)
- 4000 – Mark 8:1-10
- When he had taken the seven loaves and given thanks(v6) - They had a few small fish as well; he gave thanks for them (v7)
THE LAST SUPPER – Mark 14:22-25
- “…Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and
gave it to his disciples,” (v22)
- “Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to
them, and they all drank from it.” (v23)
