The Outward Appearance

As people, we fall in love with how things look. We want a nice looking car, house, spouse, yard, hair style, the list goes on and on. While there is nothing wrong with things looking pleasant, we tend to be too appearance-based. With God, many times, things are not how they appear. God allows things to appear one way to test our faith, but in reality, God has the situation already worked out. When we make decisions based on how things look, we are setting ourselves up for failure. Once we actually learn God, we will learn to judge righteously and not rely on the outward appearance.
