Mark and Kelsey present to you their latest episode, full of new things. Like structure. And endings. You'll see what I mean.
We cover the news, of course, with the Oscar's around the corner, Mark's jam, Atlanta coming back, Bong Joon-ho's Parasite becoming Americanized, and DJ Qualls coming out as gay. Do we care he's gay? No. But we care he's doing what's right for him. Duh.
Our Recent Review for this week is Sam Mendes's 1917. We can't say enough about this one, mostly because we don't want to spoil it for anyone.
New segment! We're calling it Variety Time (like a variety show, get it?) so we can use this space to say what we want to say and be who we want to be. Don't like it? Our Geriatric Cinematic is right around the corner so don't get her knickers in a bunch.
This week, we're doing Hard Boiled. Yes, that classic John Woo movie. Not breakfast. Why did we choose it? Both of our reviews feature track shots. Come compare and contrast with us. You know you want to.
