Jeanne-Marie Olmo was a physical therapist, a graduate student, the owner of a vineyard, and a world traveler. She is the daughter of the late Dr. Harold Paul Olmo who was a pioneer viticulturist and a much respected professor at UC Davis. He passed away at 96 years of age and believed he would get well enough to return to his work, even at the eve of his death.
Jeanne traveled the world by ship with her family when she was a young girl. She attributes her lifelong pattern of cultural appreciation to the dinners her father would sometimes have for his students and colleagues (whose origins varied greatly).
Jeanne has retired in Ventura, California. She is a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend.
