Gerry and Ari are back for this year's MLB Offseason Show. The dominant topic for 2020 was the massive penalties for the Astros following MLB's investigation of their sign stealing in 2017. Both the G.M. and Manager were suspended one year, followed by the Astros firing both persons outright. The crew dig into why this was such a black mark for baseball, and how the suspensions were appropriate punishment, then speculate as to whether MLB should have gone even further with player punishments. Afterwards, we get into collateral damage from the scandal: the Red Sox and Mets firing their respective managers Alex Cora and Carlos Beltran. After that, we get into the numerous big transactions so far from the offseason. Cole signs a giant contract to pitch for the Yankees, Rendon gets a pretty sizable contract to play third base for the Angels, and other big names move to new teams on a much better offeason than the 2019 offseason one year earlier.
