Nick Cushing lead his Manchester City Women team for the final time at the Academy Stadium on Sunday for their top of the clash against league champions Arsenal.
It was a match which with it’s outcome, could be detrimental to either team in their season campaigns. The game played out as expected, a closely fought spectacle, with little to separate the two sides but it was City who were able to bounce back following the disappointment of being knocked of the Continental Cup with a 2-1 win in front of a 3,000 strong crowd.
