Mario Mola is arguably the fastest runner the sport of Triathlon has ever seen.
With run times off hard bikes consistently under 14mins for the 5km, that’s under 2min .48 per kilometer or under 4min 27 mile pace and he has 10k times to match
But, he’s far more than just a brilliant runner… he has supported this run with an incredibly powerful swim, bike combination, that has had him win 3 consecutive ITU World Championship Series Titles in 2016, 2017 and 2018. And this past 7 years when he’s not winning he’s on the podium for the series with 3 wins, 3 x 2nds and 3rd.
He’s a smiling assassin. One of the most humble, respectful and laid back men in the sport but with a fierce ferocity on the race course that stretches his competitors to their limit … much like a medieval torturer stretching them on his rack until they break.
A good friend and at the young age of 29 already a legend in the sport of Triathlon and a true champion. Hailing from the small island of Mallora, Spain.
