Unlikely Heroes - Josiah

Children today are being encouraged to fail for the Kingdom of Heaven! Sounds harsh but it is the reality! But why, and how? Because many have set the bar too low on what others can achieve, neglecting to equip them properly in how to achieve it!! Training for Godliness is at an abysmal low in the Church, especially among the children, and many parents and elders are doing a disservice to the youth of today by not training them as they ought, both as commanded, and in the commands of God. Expecting them to succeed as they are trained up is one of the best gifts we can give to our children of today and Josiah is a shining example of what a child, properly encouraged and trained for the work of Heaven, can do for Heaven! As John C Maxwell has stated, "The primary limitation in life is our low expectations for ourselves and others. When we expect minimum results, that's usually what we get". This sermon is about raising the bar of expectation for ourselves, and for others, and stimulating a soul unto Biblical living!
