A couple Ange and Davie are celebrating their daughter Georgia's on going good progress by raising funds for Friends Of NeoNatal. Georgia was born with a rare genetic condition where her stomach was outside her body. Georgia underwent immediate surgery and spent 6 weeks at Aberdeen's Neo Natal Unit. Davie and Ange described the NHS Care as 'Second to None'. Donations towards the fund raise totalled £1,154. The Bank of Scotland chipped in with an extra £1,000
Grassroot Soccer has been launched in NE Scotland which is aimed at promoting the mental wellbeing of young people. The project was launched by Aberdeen Football Club Community Trust in association with Grassroot Soccer. This charity does a lot of work around HIV and AIDS prevention in Africa. S1 pupils at Lochside Academy and P6 and P7 pupils at Buchanhaven Primary near Peterhead /alerted to the illegal sale. A couple Kairen and Tim have now adopted Meshell. The tortoise is enjoyed by both the couple and visitors alike and is settling in well.
