The Downward Facing Spiritual Spiral
Society & Culture:Philosophy
With this huge cultural shift in how we're living our day to day lives, maybe it's time for some self reflection and a reset. If nothing else, maybe this crises will help us reprioritize our lives and remind us of what's truly important. Today on the Spiritual Spiral, I welcome my friend Marc Mulcahey back to the show. I wanted to check in with Marc and see how he's handling this situation and the call for isolation. We talk about the millennial generation and how they may not be taking this situation as seriously as they should be. Marc went for a hike at Runyon Canyon and he couldn't believe how many people were outside hugging and shaking hands and definitely not practicing social distancing. We talk about the daily shift in energy and mood we are both experiencing and the importance of staying active even at home. He talks about his family back home in Wales and shares a few thoughts about the value of trying to see the positive in this strange and dire situation. One way he's doing that is by setting up online happy hour dates. Not a bad idea. :o) If you enjoy the show, there are a few things you can do that would be incredibly helpful.
