More Tech Addiction, Domino's Is Hiring And A Measly 99 Percent

The world may never be the same. We are out of control so to try and gain some semblance of normalcy, we have no choice but to rely even more heavily on technology. Zoom, FaceTime, Instagram and YouTube. Our lives literally depend on technology more than ever before and with some thick irony, it feels like tech companies are the only ones benefitting from this crisis. Oh, and Domino's too. Today on the Spiritual Spiral, I talk about Amazon, Domino's Pizza and I wonder if we can ever get out of this mess? My show originated out of my own belief that technology and social media are causing immense disruption, yet now we have no choice. We have to use them. I also can't help but wonder why there has been no push back towards the way our culture has literally shut down. I am all for being cautious. Heck, I have health insurance and auto insurance just in case I get sick or I get into a car accident. But is it possible, we've tipped the scale and gone too far? Can we ever come back from this cultural lockdown? I also find it perplexing how 99 percent of cases in South Korea have been considered mild, yet our entire country is apparently scared out of their minds.
