Cogitations e193: about Noah, drunkenes, and Canaan's curse

A listener asked about the account of Noah's sons' walking backward to cover his nakedness recorded in Genesis chapter nine. Her question was, what am I supposed to get out of this. She followed up with, is it a sin to see your parents naked? Then she concluded, if so, then that ship has sailed with mom and dad because I nursed them through illness in their old age.

Folk, this is a wonderful question and I enjoyed doing research for it. The quick answer is, no, you are not in sin by seeing your parents naked when you take care of them in their old age. But what does this passage and account teach us? Take a listen and let me know what you think.
