The Highway of Tears is a nearly 500 mile stretch of Highway 16 between Prince George and Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada where countless women have gone missing since 1969. Nearly all of the women have been Indigenous and many believe that racism plays a role in the underreporting of the case. We cover the little facts we have about the 18 most well known missing women and multiple documentaries that bring awareness to this tragedy.
