What does this story teach us about Christ?

 

• Christ is Always Ready to Help the Humble

- native or foreigner

- man or woman

- old or young

- rich or poor

- privileged or oppressed

• Jesus Touched the “Unclean”, and the “Unclean” Touched Jesus

- Mark 1:40-42

- Some day we will “touch” again – we really need to

 

• The Word of Christ is Trustworthy

- who do we believe?

- do we believe God, that hope still lives?

- or do we believe the world, that hope is gone?

• Faith in Christ Requires Believing in What you Cannot See

- Will we live in fear of a life-taking force that we cannot see?

- OR will we live in faith of the life-giver whom we cannot see?
