While reading and planning our recording for Fury of Fire (originally planned as episode 27) the Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing to question Christine Blasey Ford on her report of sexual harassment by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. There was no way to divorce our discussion of this book from the current events in our country. We start this episode by exploring the relationship between Bastian and Mist but the conversation quickly shifts to topics of toxic masculinity and sexual assault.
