Hosea - The prophet that shows God's compassion and mercy. Imagine having a been told by God to marry a harlot. Even then, she will not love you and she continues in her adultery. God then says take her back. This is how much I love Israel. But the nation of Israel would not turn back to God. It breaks God's heart when we sin against Him and we will face the consequences of our actions. As the song goes Oh how He loves you and me........
