Key Chapters & Segments in Joseph’s Life

A. Rejected by his brothers.

B. Sold as a slave in Potiphar’s house.

C. Wrongly accused and thrown into prison. (Joseph lost his coat but he kept his character)

D. Interpreter of dreams!

 

 

The cupbearer forgot him, but God did not!

 

Two years later, God would use the cupbearer to help deliver Joseph from prison. Joseph would learn:

 

1. He would learn that God’s delays are not God’s denials

2. It’s through faith and patience that we inherit the promises (Heb. 6:12)

3. Being a servant precedes being a ruler

4. He was finally greatly exalted through his God-given ability to interpret dreams
