On Wednesday's "The Extra", host Shannon Brinias spoke with General Robin Rand (Ret. US Air Force), CEO of the Gary Sinise Foundation, which is dedicated to our nation's defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need by creating programs to support and strengthen them. During the pandemic, the foundation created an "Emergency Covid-19 Combat Service Campaign." Actor Gary Sinise founded the non-profit, and will take part in the Memorial Day Concert airing on PBS stations Sunday evening before Memorial Day.
