Kellyane Conway, President Trump will visit to Michigan Today to tour a Ford Motor Co. plant in Ypsilanti

Kellyane Conway is a White House counselor to President Donald Trump. Previously, she was a Republican strategist and pollster who served as campaign manager for Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.

 

President Trump will visit to Michigan Today to tour a Ford Motor Co. plant in Ypsilanti where the automaker and GE Healthcare are assembling ventilators for the coronavirus pandemic response. At the early stages of this crisis, many models predicted there would be a shortage of ventilators. In response to this, President Trump took decisive action to increase the production of ventilators, an industrial ramp up not seen since World War II. Since he was elected, the President has worked tirelessly to bring American manufacturing back to the U.S., including the production of critical medical supplies and pharmaceuticals. Additionally, while in Michigan the President will meet with national and Detroit-area African American leaders to help distressed communities recover from the COVID-19.
