Three— The next COVID-19 shortage could end up being fireworks. With cities across the nation canceling public displays this Independence Day, sales of fireworks are booming as more families opt to put on their own shows.
Two— The American Academy of Pediatrics has issued a set of re-entry policies for schools to follow, urging that all considerations for the fall should have the goal of students being “physically present in school”. They noted that children and adolescents were less likely to be symptomatic and less likely to have severe disease resulting from a COVID-19 infection.
And number one—In an op-ed this past weekend, Congressman Tim Walberg of Michigan and Steve Scalise of Louisiana are arguing that Michigan's nursing home order has risked lives. They're demanding information and explanations from Gov. Whitmer that thus far have been absent.
