Sermon #399
Throughout the Summer of 2020 we will be going verse-by-verse through the book of Philippians, the letter written by Paul to the church he founded in Philippi. In 2020 we have seen a lot of hardship through global pandemic, racial clashes and riots, political instability... It's been a tough year. Yet our joy comes from a source external to us. Paul, imprisoned in Rome, found joy in his imprisonment because of the continued spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And so my hope and prayer is that this letter will encourage us all to embrace the joy of the gospel even in our current circumstances.
