My Tuesday Dhamma talk and our sangha discussion is on establishing independence from the people and events of human life. The Dhamma reveals the confusion and suffering that arises in dependence on the magical belief in interdependence, interconnectedness, inter-being, and any fabricated view that clings individual human beings to objects, events, views, and ideas that contradict human reality and contradicts Four Noble Truths.
“All of human life is anicca, impermanent, and uncertain. Life in the phenomenal world is ultimately unsatisfactory, dukkha, due to life’s inescapable qualities of impermanence and uncertainty....” (Class 17)
