Psalm 27
By Pastor Jamshad Hadyat
Sunday, July 5th, 2020
“What is happening in the world now has already happened before.” Says, Pastor Jamshad as he explains how believers as the body of Christ and church must live in these uncertain days. Taking the example of David from the Bible, who has lived most of his life in distress by his enemies like king Saul and even his son. David says, in Psalm 27 that amid everything, “Lord you are my light and salvation.”
Most of the time, when things are good and everything is going your way, you thank God but as soon as life gets tough and rough you start to blame God. This is a human tendency but believers must always be thankful to God like David. He knew that God is everything and is everywhere and he shall not be shaken or moved by the trials offered by life.
The world is always against believers and circumstances might be against you also but when you claim that God is your light and your salvation and believe in it with all your heart, HE will see you through everything. Matthew 24 says that there will be troubles in the coming days and believers are not exempted from them but God will be with you when you go through them.
Pastor Jamshad gives you 3 encouraging points in this message to hold on to your faith in God and continue to press forward.
