Today we are with the hosts of the Pen Clique Podcast, Daniel Hees and Kuya [ˈko͞oyə] David Lazaro.  Pen Clique is the laboratory where poetry and pixels combine to produce lively podcasts, stunning visuals, hype fashion, and crackin live events. They're exploring the digital frontier to help carve the best paths for online poets to get seen, heard, and supported.

David is a Dream chaser. Food taster. Tech major. Rhyme slayer. Graphic tailor. Picture taker. Magic maker.  He is Executive Creative Director of Pen Clique, a senior art director in the entertainment advertising industry, and a spoken word head of 10+ years. His goal is to use his professional skill set to make online-poetry engaging, fun & accessible for the modern audience.

Daniel is A spoken word artist and producer working throughout LA’s poetry scene and Internationally via Radio, TV, and Internet. He hopes to expose new audiences to the power of poetry and art.
