Audrey Hepburn is a great example of a Hollywood movie star who never goes out of fashion. HCC film professors Marie Westhaver and Mike Giuliano consider her eternal appeal in this podcast episode. Born to an English banker and a Dutch baroness, Hepburn possessed an aristocratic grace that served her well as an actor. Her breakthrough role as a princess in "Roman Holiday" (1953) instantly made her a movie star and earned her the Academy Award as best actress. Marie and Mike also discuss what is arguably her most iconic role as Holly Golightly in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" (1961), and they mention several of her other films. Add in the humanitarian work she did for UNICEF and it's clear that Audrey Hepburn was a class act.
