Ye ole siren song calls to men of the sea to jump overboard and drown themselves.
Then, you get the reverse sirens that find drowning people and rescue them.
I can tell you, first hand... you never know which one you will get when you hear the call. Folks, those sirens can be mean - see you already drowning and drown you harder. NO ONE NEEDS THAT! At least getting coerced into leaping over board by a song and some suggestive clothing is somewhat romantic. At least your children and grandchildren have a story - if you have those things. Otherwise, no worries how you bite it - no one is going to remember you in a handful of years anyway.
SPASH is a romantic comedy that leads a young boy to meat a cute fish-girl after he tries to drown himself so he doesn't have to hear another verse of Wooly Bully. This encounter takes over his life until they meet again in New York city.
Non-sense ensues.
Follow the non-sense of Lee and Joe as they discuss this 80's rom-com and determine if it still holds up.
