056 - Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory [1971]

Gene Wilder takes vengeance out on children who need moral lessons taught to them. I guess, in that aspect, those lessons may have been taken too far... or not far enough?

 

The dark factory across town that has been inactive for a long long time suddenly starts running again. If that is not creepy, the fact that it is making chocolate would probably be even more creepy.

 

Now the mainstream media is going nuts over golden tickets for children to tour the factory that NOBODY GOES IN, AND NOBODY COMES OUT... that isn't creepy

 

Now add a 30 year old swooning kids with singing and chocolate and the creep factor blows through the glass ceiling like a WONKAVATOR!
