Being a parent is hard! New mum's are particularly vulnerable to postnatal depletion, depression and anxiety as they navigate the continuum that is the adjustment to new motherhood. In this episode I will discuss this journey, the impact of societal expectations (read "shoulds"), and how to clarify your values as a parent. You will be introduced to a psychological flexibility framework, and learn some strategies for accepting this wonderful new reality.
