Liam Cunningham & Roz Purcell - The World Vision Episode: Episode 362

Jarlath is joined by World Vision Ireland's Programmes Director Maurice Sadlier and two of its Ambassadors food-writer and former model Roz Purcell and one of the stars of Game Of Thrones, actor Liam Cunningham. 

 

Maurice explains the essence of the work that World Vision does globally (5:00). Liam explains how his time living in Zimbabwe expanded his mind and informed the great work he would later do supporting the charity (25:00). Roz speaks about her experiences spent working with World Vision in Mexico and Syria. We hear of the terrifying ambush she survived and the stark realities of child abuse that gave her a lifesaving new perspective on her own battle with an eating disorder (55:00).
