Summer In The Psalms

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. (Matthew 6:6)

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 91:1)

WHAT WE SAY ABOUT GOD

I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." (Psalm 91:2)

1. God Is My Refuge Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. (Psalm 91:3) ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

2. God Is My Fortress He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. (Psalm 91:4) ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

3. God Is My God In Whom I Trust You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. (Psalm 91:5-6) ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT US

"Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation." (Psalm 91:14-16)
