On today's episode meet Sable B., an educator and trainer by trade. She’s a former high school teacher, a current non-profit program director, and creator of Real Brown Girls, an online community of over 50,000 women. One day Sable realized she could build community outside of her classroom. She left the world of teaching and began conducting career readiness centered workshops throughout Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts.
When she isn’t showing students how to milk college for all it’s worth or fundraising, she can be found creating national sold-out networking events for women of color. Believing in the power and necessity of in person connections, Sable has hosted over 15 live sold-out events and workshops, partnering with brands like Bond Collective, Essentia, Curls, and the YWCA in Brooklyn, NY.
