This week on the pod Dave, John and Jeff discuss the film year 1996, specifically taking a look at 3 star-studded features. We begin with breaking down the incredible Fargo, directed by the Coen Brothers starring Frances McDormand, William H. Macy & Steve Buscemi. We then take another look at Baz Luhrmann's modernization of Romeo + Juliet, starring a pre-Titanic Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. We conclude with our our "Was it really that bad?" segment and our attempt at redeeming The Cable Guy, directed by Ben Stiller, produced by Judd Apatow and featuring the all-star cast of Jim Carrey, Matthew Broderick, Leslie Mann and Jack Black.
