Tax collection and that L.A. life don't generally mix, but this is The Reel Appeal. We don't follow the rules, we only make them.
The Tax Collector is our Recent Review and To Live and Die in L.A. is our Geriatric Cinematic. Kelsey had her time to shine--well, rant--about Radioactive, but this week, it's Mark's turn.
Besides reviews, we have some news to talk about concerning the Captain Marvel 2 director, the Paramount Decrees being terminated, and Christopher Eccleston coming back as Doctor Who for the audio adventures. Also, Try This Not That makes a triumphant return and we look forward to making your ear/eye holes happy.
We're off next week! However, you'll have plenty of time to prepare for our return.
When we come back from our small vacation, Kelsey and Mark will be reviewing IFC Films, Tesla. The Ethan Hawke starring movie will be available to rent on VOD on August 21st.
Our Geriatric Cinematic pick for that week's show will be Christopher Nolan's 2006 movie, The Prestige. You can the movie to rent on Apple TV, YouTube, Amazon, or wherever you rent your digtal movies.
