Canon was hit by maze ransomware disabling its email system, Microsoft teams and other internal applications.

Canon has lost 10TB of stolen data due to this ransomware attack.

 

This type of ransomware spreads on the network and establishes a foothold by targeting the administrator account within a domain-controller.
