Everything is created for an environment such that when you take the thing out of its environment, it will not do well. God is the one who propagated the principle of environment. Right from the story of creation, it evident that God created an environment, made it ready before He created that which would dwell in that kind of environment. since we were created in God's image, we need His presence to be able to function effectively. The fall of man was actually a departure from the presence of God. That is why Jesus had to come to to restore us so we can go to the presence of God.
