In the 1993 film Jurassic Park, an eccentric industrialist finances a team of scientists to recreate dinosaurs for a new theme park. However, things go wrong and everyone on the island is put in danger. Ian Malcolm, one of the guests, states, "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
