Wow! 2 weeks! Who would have guessed! In this episode we talk about cinema's second year, including one of the most iconic films of all time, Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat Station. This year the Lumieres develop their techniques and send cameras to capture actualities around the world, plus we see the rise of Georges Méliès: the first person to see the true potential of film as a storytelling art form and lover of spooky skeletons.
Sorry about the audio quality in this one, we had a big of a technical kerfuffle and had to use the backup zoom audio, but we'll be working with our spiffy condenser mics next week!
