Day 142

Father, 

We praise You for being the Sower of light and joy in our lives, even if we haven’t yet seen it bloom. We trust that You have sown goodness for Your kids. You are our Maker and our Shepherd⁠—our Creator and our Keeper.  

Have mercy on me, a sinner. We repent of our sins and turn to You and we ask You to make our hearts clean. We confess we’ve let our hearts be hardened in the past, but would You enlighten us again to Your ways? We don’t want to miss out on the beautiful complexity of walking with You. You’re the one who brings us rest and restoration!

Help us show the world the joy we have in knowing You deeply. Today, may Your love be demonstrated to those who don’t yet know You. Because like the psalmist, we want all the ends of the earth to know the salvation of our God! You are where the joy is! 

We surrender our lives to You, Lord—every moment of our day, each decision we make, we yield our will and way to Your perfect will and way. 

We love You too. Amen.
