When Joe graduated high school his parents went through a divorce that left him feeling lost, alone, and angry at God. After completing college he found himself finally having to face the pain that he had pushed down for the past several years. That pain, along with curiosity about his parents past, led him to adventure through the Black Hills in the middle of the December. Saying that adventure was both frightening is a bit of an understatement, but saying it was a God-filled journey of facing pain with courage - is a lot more accurate. Join us for the next four weeks at Joe Patterson, adventurer, guitarist, writer, and gas station food connoisseur, tells his story.
If you want to know more about his story, I highly encourage you to purchase a copy of his book "The Legend of Griffin." You can also listen to his podcast, Parks & Rewatch or follow him @thejoepatterson.
