This week on the pod Dave, John and Jeff discuss movies from the film year 1968. We begin with Stanley Kubrick's seminal masterpiece (or is it??) 2001: A Space Odyssey. Our second film is Steve McQueen's Bullitt, which is a stylish mystery thriller that helps transition police films from studio noirs to the bloody, violent, post-Bonnie & Clyde indie flicks we see all over the 1970s. We wrap up with revisiting Chitty Chitty Bang Bang where we ask the question: was this only good because I saw it when I was 5?
