RUN
This week we are recapping a virtual race we ran this weekend. Southwest Florida Walk Like MADD 5K & 10K to raise money for the Mothers Against Drunk Driving. We talked about it with Lori Burke, Executive Director of MADD back on Episode 131. We are proud to support a local organization that does so much to prevent drunk driving and to support victims of these preventable incidents.

EAT
This past Friday was National Lobster Day! We headed to a new addition to the downtown Fort Myers area to celebrate with some lobster rolls. Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls may be in a town near you. This location opened up at the beginning of 2020 and we are so happy it still here for us to celebrate with some tasty rolls, soup, and sides! Can’t wait to go back and have more!
We also talked about some past episodes featuring some great lobster that you can still get if you have a hankering! They include:
Quick Bite #80: Listener Recommendation at DJ’s Clam Shack (Famous Lobster Roll)
Episode #87: 2019 Wine and Dine Half Marathon & Dana’s Picks from Epcot Food & Wine Festiva (Lobster Roll at Hops & Barley Booth)
Episode #105: Keep Accomplishing, Exploring, and Indulging with Us Virtually (Our favorite lobster roll from a local food truck Mobstah Lobstah)
Episode #125: A Training Run At Walt Disney World and a Peek at Some 2020 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Offerings (Citrus Blossom Booth Half Lobster Tail... Yum!)
DRINK

Episode #39: Walk Like MADD 5K Dash, Artisan Eatery, and Grumpy Goat Coffee
Quick Bite #81 Cuban Coffee Queen
Quick Bite #89: Video Interview with Head Coffee Roaster of Big Storm Coffee Company, Chris Ramsey
Episode #109: Part 2 of our Talk with Ray Cronise and Julieanna Hever, Authors of The Healthspan Solution & Caleb MacPherson from Narrative Coffee
Episode #110: Bringing RunDisney Home with Mike Rahlmann from Be Our Guest Podcast & Erick Kanter from Expedition Roasters
What are we drinking this week to celebrate National Coffee Day? Black Rifle Coffee. More specifically, we are drinking their Thin Blue Line Coffee Roast. It is a smooth medium roast that we can drink black or with milk and still get the same smooth coffee flavor. We love Black Rifle Coffee because a portion of the proceeds go to support law enforcement as well as other public servants who help keep us safe and fight for our freedom. That and delicious coffee... it is a great National Coffee Day indeed!
BONUS FOR THE RUNCATION NATION
Expedition Roasters is offering a brand new discount code for the Runcation Nation! Use the code RunEatDrink at checkout to receive 15% off your order! Thank you to Erick Kanter for providing this code to our listeners! Hope you will check out the delicious coffee, tea, and cocoa available from Expedition Roasters.
