On Christmas eve, Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) finds himself entangled in a contract (the clause) that would lead him to another world. At first Scott is in denial of the events that have occurred to him and their significance. As his year unfolds, he grows to his new identity, finally coming to the realization of who he truly is - Santa!
